Since the 15th of May 2010, when Easy Italia started up, several documents have been produced. Papers include activity reports providing statistics related to the typologies of tourists who applied to the service and some success cases.
In order to meet the needs of tourists coming to Italy form other countries, Easy Italia has translated the Charter of Rights for Tourists, an informative document that summarize the essential features of the current regulation pertaining to tourism and travellers’ rights. This document was produced by the Department of Tourism competitiveness and development on April 2010, and has been updated in February 2011.
The Charter of Rights for Tourists is a complete guide, produced according to the art. 4 Law No. 135 of 29th March 2001, providing information ranging from hospitality to claim procedures, from conciliation and arbitration procedures, in case of breaches of contract by tourist service providers, to insurance, from health care to local culture and habits.
This useful guide is now available also in English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Chinese, thanks to the translations by Easy Italia. The Charter of Rights for Tourists be consulted on the website of the Department of Tourism competitiveness and development.
